Billy Walsh top 7
Mr. Billy Walsh is one of my favourite periphery characters on Entourage. He is brutish, crass and an all around mad genius. He produces some of the greatest lines in the show's long history (Ari Gold, aside). Here are some of my favourites.

I'm just saying...
When it comes time to do the Michael Phelps biopic, Jim from the Office himself, John Krasinski is the perfect dude to play the role. I only noticed this when watching the Office Olympics episode and put two and two together.
Whoa! These dudes are the same age.
Jet Li and Brad Pitt are both 48! I'm 22 and these bastards look better than I ever will.
Gordon Ramsey and Dwight Shrute himself, Rainn Wilson are both 45. I don't know why, but it's surprising.

What is your most used app?
I am not appealing just to my iPhone peeps out there, but while I'm at it, down with BlackBerry! I simply wonder which App do I use the most. I have monitored myself for the past few days and have come up with a top 5 list. I don't consider Apps that are stock from Apple, just the ones that are downloaded via AppStore. SPOILER: Angry Birds isn't even in the top 30.
1. Twitter
I tweet things, this facilitates my need for a medium to do so. You see, I am being careful as to not go over 160 characters or else my favourite app will eventually cut the length of my twe
2. Google
Sometimes I don't have all the answers, this Google thing does. Have you tried it? Google, weird, is it new? Also features voice search which is superbadass when you're with company. Hold it up to your ear and ask that ever important question: "How many dick jokes did South Park make in it's finale?" Answer: Not enough.
3: IMDB
The worlds most comprehensive movie and tv database just got served; as it's own app, take that Republicans. A great, simple, sleek interface is this apps strength. Lack of messageboard capability is its only drawback.
4. Facebook
This is actually my number 1 app because I get notifications, so I'm using it all the time. But to actually tap and go on Facebook, it's not nearly as much as I visit number 3.
5. SoundHound
The sequel to Shazam, now without Shaquille O'Neal coming to mind, this app is great for when you can't remember the name of that stupid song on the stupid radio with its stupid knob and its dumb ugly preset face.

Study Habits
I have a habit of falling into old habits, I have to start to end those. Lucid dreaming aside, I believe that if I write something succinct and educated I will be able to curb my distraction and continue (read: start) my readings for my final tomorrow.

This is Velvet Sky. She is extremely hot, it was tested, by NASA. Also, I lied. She is, however, a wrestler, and a pretty (damn good) one in the Knockouts division of TNA wrestling.

Edge's Retirement
Last week on WWE Raw Edge came out to the crowd in Buffalo to address (his) fans. Not in ring attire, the winningest champion in all of wrestling, like ever, grabbed the mic and gave word on his health. Unable to even lift his arms, he said, he still wrestled day in and day out. It was in the collective memories of the WWE fans of Edge's neck injury. It was his comeback after this injury that saw him put into the spotlight for the big gold, to change the game forever.
Previously one of the mainstays in the tag-team division's renaissance in the early 2000s as part of Edge&Christian, he helped revolutionize a new type of match: Tables/Ladders/Chairs. Oh my was he good, pulling off a spear from a twenty foot ladder and taking bumps like a (future) champ. Ever the personality, it was Edge who changed Kurt Angle's career forever, well he shaved his hair. Oh, and chanting YOU SUCK! during Angle's entrance music, yep, that was good ole' Edge. On the following SmackDown, he relinquished his World Heavyweight championship belt, leaving as the champ and on top. Known to millions as Edge, Adam Copeland thrilled fans and colleagues for the better part of a decade and will surely be missed. The WWE prepared a video montage of Edge's illustrious career, although very impressive, the 3 or so minutes do not begin to do it justice. Edgeheads, unite!

New Trio of Comedy
Listening to one of the multitude of podcasts that Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington it is hard one to get the sense that these three radio personalities are genuine friends. Ricky and Stephen are the popular creators of The Office, the UK version, the slightly less funny than the NBC version made famous by Steve Carell et. al but awkwardly brilliant nonetheless. It was the first introduction of Ricky Gervais the actor to an audience. His BAFTA, Golden Globe and Emmy winning performaces were surprising. Not the standard comedian of joke and punchline, he has just finished his fourth stand up tour, this one entitled Science. With stories about Noah's Ark, gift giving and fat people this is a very niche stand up special. I would recommend RIcky Gervais: Out of England, which is has his most versatile material.
Ricky and Steven were popular after doing XM Radio in Britain. It was there that they met their producer Karl Pilkington. After realizing that the funniest interchanges happened after asking Karl his opinion, they brought him in front of the mic, and a star was born, albeit, one with a head like a f*#kin orange. I suggest listening to the Ricky Gervais Guide To series. This is a very good series of podcasts, about an hour long that has the trio chatting about their takes on the future, medicine, natural history, politics and philosopy amoung other such subjects. These are conversations in the minimalist sense, basically they ask Karl something and rebut with comments about his ludicrous answers. One can bet money that Ricky and Steven have the opposite reasonings for or against the topics at hand. It is also delightful to get an insight into Karl's personal life. One memorable interchange between the three occurred wen Karl was describing what he did last week, saying he had to go to the cobbler and then he went to the toffee shop. This brought about Ricky's infectious laugh straight from his gut, actually even deeper, from his legs, and it works its way up to the surface in a high pitched hyena-esque mating call, a laugh only Karl can bring out. Its fun because it gives us non-Brits an insight into the goings on of normal Londoners. They busted the notion that these uniquely British-isms of the toffee shop and cobblers have gone instinct. Stephen quips whether Karl visited the blacksmith and the candlestickmaker next.
Last year, HBO animated the podcasts, giving them a new life for those unfamiliar.
The animations allow us to see what Karl sees when he gives his ridiculous explanations and news. One staple news portion of the podcast is Monkey News. Basically, Karl explains some fantastical bit of news he read recently and the punchline is that it was the monkey who saved a woman from a fire, or it was a monkey that was steering a rocket in outerspace. Seriously, head like a fuckin orange.
